Any Senior Picture Ideas?
I was wondering if anybody could help me think of some ideas for my Senior Pictures? I go to a magnet performing, visual, and language arts school and we all take the creativity of senior Portraits pretty seriously. The photo agency suggested doing something with our instruments, but I play the piano…and I don’t think they’d appreciate me bringing my 5’6″ baby grand in. Pretty much, I’d have to say that my personality isn’t too dramatic. I’m a little quirky, very studious, and fairly friendly. The one thing I’ll be remembered for (other than academics, where I’m the calculus freak) is my dislike of shoes and love of fun socks. Anyone? Thanks!
Also, sorry if this is in the wrong category! The Visual Arts – Photography section might be a better option, but…here it is! c:
You could bring more portable items with you to the studio and arrange them in a way so that they resemble the keys and body of a piano. The image that just formed in my mind is of a row of white chocolate bars carefully spaced a fraction apart exactly like the white keys of a piano, and Kit Kat bars strategically nestled on top for the black keys, all neatly lined on top of a table, and you sitting on a piano bench in front of them with your fingers poised to play. You could wear a beautiful dress like one you’d wear to a concert recital, and have your shoeless feet clothed in wildly designed socks peaking out.
You could enlist the help of your artistic friends to paint a canvas drop-cloth to create the illusion of the body of a baby grand piano, and place that on the table, then line the candy bars on its edge. A piano bench is fairly transportable and will fit into most medium-size or larger car.
Once you had all your materials assembled, all you would need to do is ask the Photography Studio for about half an hour of extra time to set everything up.
Good luck!
~ Peace : )
